The Peplinski Group owns and operates 13 short and long-term nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout Michigan. When they asked us to help them with their branding and marketing, we noticed that each of the 13 locations was communicating with residents and their families in drastically different ways.
Using the data they were already entering in on their website, we were able to roll out display screens, or Electronic Bulletin Boards, that allow the facilities to share daily menus, activities, and announcements.
The system we designed all starts with a bunch of inexpensive Raspberry Pi’s.
From there, we programmed each one to load a special page on their website that is only available on the Peplinski Group network.

Here you can see a couple of the screens installed at the Stratford Pines location in Midland.
And here is what the whole thing looks like for West Woods of Bridgman.
This system helped our client to create a consistently branded internal communications program, and has also eliminated duplicated efforts. Employees are now entering events and menus on their website, which is being fed to these screens automatically. Being web based, the system is easy to upgrade as needed. If you would like to integrate your website data into an internal display system, please drop us a line!
